New Patients at Marketplace Chiropractic

When you enter our practice, you will be greeted with a warm smile and offered water or tea. We want you to feel at home- comfortable and relaxed, as we begin the healing process.

After a quick tour of the practice, we will take you back to meet your doctor. You will discuss your health history, go over any questions you have, and talk about why you’ve come to see us today. If we think you’re a candidate for care, we will move on with a complete, comprehensive exam. If not, we will happily refer you to someone we think can help you achieve the results you’re looking for. At the end of the day, we want what’s best for your health.

Next, we will do a comprehensive physical exam, including computerized spinal scans, assessment of your mobility and alignment, and any necessary orthopedic and neurological testing. If necessary, we will take digital x-rays -we have a machine conveniently in the practice, so you won’t have to leave for them. Expect this initial visit to last about one hour-we always take the necessary time required to get to know our patients and gather the information we need to get them well.

When your visit is done, your doctor will review your history and exam findings, analyze your spinal images, and develop a care plan to best address your health needs and goals. We will go over this together at your second visit.

At your second appointment, we will go over our report of findings with you-this will include what’s going on in your body and how we intend to move forward with correcting the issue. Any costs associated with your care will be discussed, and you will have the chance to ask any questions.

Remember, we want you to make informed choices when it comes to the care you choose. Please know that we will always respect your decisions, as how you choose to benefit from chiropractic care is always up to you.

If you would like to begin care, you will have the opportunity for your first adjustment at this visit.

On each office visit, Dr. Mike will evaluate your whole spine for areas of neurostructural dysfunction and will use specific techniques to release fixations and improve spinal and overall body function.

When you choose care with us, we will regularly evaluate your progress to determine what’s working and what needs tweaking, helping us bring you the absolute best outcomes. While your care may look different from someone else’s, know that we’re doing exactly what your body needs to thrive for years to come.

Please note, we ask that you provide a 24-hour cancellation notice if you need to reschedule an appointment. All missed (no-show) initial visits will be subject to a missed appointment charge.
